Note on accessibility — Deutsche Pfandverwertung
A technical design that makes it difficult or impossible for people with physical disabilities to access a website is referred to as a barrier. Examples of such barriers include insufficient color contrast, images without alternative text, websites that cannot be operated using arrow keys or a lack of clear content structure. To ensure that our website is accessible to everyone, we do everything we can to avoid such barriers. In doing so, we are guided by the requirements of the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) in accordance with the Disability Equality Act and the Bavarian Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BayBITV).
Note: Numerous functions for navigating the website in an accessible manner can be set on your computer under Settings > Accessibility.
Audio-visual information:
We would like to refer you to our explanatory videos, which are published on our website for various topics, including Explanatory video for bidders, explanatory video for clients, explanatory video on the function of the publicly appointed, sworn auctioneer, videos on most auction announcements. Subtitles in German can be activated (usually by clicking on sign: CC).
Let text speak (text-to-speech) / voice control:
On your computer, you can activate voice support — VoiceOver — in the settings under Accessibility to have a text read out to you. Shortcuts for this function can also be set (Command F5 option — on Apple computers, for example). Voice control can also usually be set in the accessibility features of your computer.
Bidding — three options:
If you would like to bid in an auction, you can place your bids by telephone, in writing or online.
Text in “easy language”:
Some texts are already available in plain language. This means that the texts have been formulated in simple, short sentences as far as the subject matter allows. However, legal explanations or legal texts must be formulated in exact wording. If you have any questions about our texts, please contact us: office@deutsche-pfandverwertung.de or tel. 08027 980 9928.
Improve the view:
You can make the font larger or smaller.
If the font is too small
Press the button with the font Ctrl (Command).
Hold down the button and press the + button at the same time.
Then you will see the whole page larger.
If the font is too large
Press the button with the font Ctrl.
Hold down the button and press the — button at the same time.
You can also do this several times. You will then see the whole page smaller.
Display aids:
You can simplify the operation of your computer and adapt it to your needs. This is usually possible in the settings under operating aids, for example one-finger operation, zooming, increasing contrast, reducing transparency, inverting screen color, key delay, key operation keyboard-mouse operation and much more.
